Abdul Hannan has revolutionised what it means to take the music industry by storm as a singer-songwriter. A software engineer by profession, he pursued music simultaneously and gained attention with his debut single "Faaslay" in 2020 while working full-time. The song was well received and signaled the arrival of a new icon in Pakistan's music scene.

Hannan’s subsequent releases however, “Bikhra” and “Iraaday” cemented him as a global icon in the making. Both tracks dominated the Pakistani top 10 charts for over 100 weeks straight while also making a mark on international charts. "Bikhra" clinched the number one spot, while "Iraaday" followed closely at number two for several months. One of his next releases, "Siyah," also secured a place in the top 10 charts in Pakistan, making it the third of his songs. Being consistently ranked in the top 10 most streamed artists on Spotify in Pakistan, his music has remained on the charts since 2022.
