determined to shape his own reality Abel Balder dropped out of university to make his music dreams reality. playing guitar since a young age and performing whenever he could, Abel developed an interest in electronic music during high school and began combining self produced beats with live guitar and vocals. realising commercial and spiritual growth in his 20s - one never without the other - he had his first success with instrumental hip hop beats (Essentials) followed by his breakthrough a couple years later when he was introduced to a worldwide audience as the singer and co-creator of Relax My Eyes. working on his debut album in the vibrant heart of Amsterdam's city center, Abel combines all influences he's picked up over the years into a multi-energetic sonic universe characterised by his voice, guitar and unique production - inspiring presence, movement and self-reflection to listeners
