Amari

Amari was born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area. Her love for music began in her elementary years, where she discovered her sincerest passions for songwriting, poetry, and the piano.

Amari is a published poet with the Poetry Institute of Canada, where her poem titled “I Have Seen” can be found in their national anthology titled "Passages of the Heart." Amari began posting her spoken-word pieces and original songs on Instagram since she was in high school in 2018. They quickly racked up tens of thousands of views, where she finally gained the opportunity to get in the studio. Her introspective pieces have been making its way to the eyes of the public since March of 2021.

Amari has collaborated with globally recognized Punjabi-Canadian artist, AP Dhillon, on their song titled “Ma Belle.” The music video accumulated over 85 million views, over 100 million streams on Spotify alone, and became YouTube’s #1 trending video in Canada.

Amari's voice has been described as "angelic, smooth, and soulful" in an article written by DMTV. Her music has been described as "addictive", explaining her devoted following. "In just a few days, [her first EP titled "Love That For Me"] amassed over 100K streams."

On May 19th, 2023, Amari released "All In My Head" which was deemed by Spotify as one of the best Jersey Club songs of 2023.

Her highly anticipated collaboration with Talwiinder released on October 4th, 2024.
