Andi Rianto

Andi Rianto, born on 7 May 1972, is an Indonesian record producer, songwriter, composer, arranger, and film and television composer. Andi's musical journey began at the age of four with piano lessons. He majored in film scoring and graduated from Berklee College with a cum laude distinction in 1996. Returning to Indonesia, Andi established the Magenta Orchestra in 2004, solidifying his influence on the Indonesian music scene.
His successful endeavors and achievements in the national music industry, which range from his roles as a musician, music producer/arranger, and songwriter for various top-notch Indonesian singers to composing scores for several Indonesian films, serve as evidence of his prowess. Over the course of his illustrious 26-year career, Andi Rianto received numerous prestigious awards in the Indonesian and Malaysian film and music industries.
His reputation as a hitmaker began to soar in the late 1990s. He collaborated with the late Dorie Kalmas and Titi DJ to produce "Bahasa Kalbu” in 1999. Transitioning into a new era, he joined forces with Ari Lasso to create the uplifting number "Mengejar Matahari." Andi Rianto continued to transcend generations by revitalizing some of his compositions with Raisa, Rony Parulian, and Lyodra etc. His music direction career includes headlining the Indonesian idol TV talent search, the music program Harmoni SCTV, and the Asian Para Games opening ceremony.
His song Melangkah earned him the Piala Citra Best Theme Song award.
