BAEKHYUN

BAEKHYUN is the lead vocalist of EXO, the group known for re-writing K-pop history, and also the leader of SuperM, known as the Avengers and all-stars of K-pop. He is also a wildly successful solo artist and has achieved several astonishing achievements as both a member of a group and a solo act.

BAEKHYUN is regarded as one of the most talented vocalists in K-pop, earning him the nickname “King of Vocals” because of his ability to strike a chord in the hearts of listeners with his heartwarming, sensual vocals. After releasing a handful of standalone singles and original soundtracks as a soloist, BAEKHYUN released his 1st EP ‘City Lights’ in 2019, which sold more than half-million copies. With his 2nd EP ‘Delight’ released in May 2020, BAEKHYUN became the first solo artist in 19 years to surpass 1 million copies in sales, and the second artist in Korea to earn the title of ‘million-seller’ as both a solo artist and group act.

His 3rd EP 'Bambi', an album featuring six R&B tracks, not only topped several Korean music charts but also became the highest-selling album by any K-pop soloist in the first week of its release. In January 2022, it was announced that BAEKHYUN has the highest album sales among solo male artists over the past decade according to Gaon Chart‘s 10-year cumulative album sales data, which made a big splash in the K-pop industry, proving his status as the top vocalist in Asia.
