New York-based DJ and producer Chase B made a name for himself with his high-profile DJ slots and as Travis Scott's go-to touring DJ before branching out on his own with a slew of singles, including 2019's "Mayday" and 2020's "Casino." He continued releasing new tracks from there, working with Gunna, Pusha T, Quavo, and other notable rap stars on tracks like 2023's melodic and hooky "Ring Ring."
Chase B became interested in DJ'ing when he hosted parties and MC'ed while attending Howard University in D.C. Realizing that not only could he be the MC but the DJ as well, he worked on his skills and after leaving University moved to New York, where he DJ'd high profile parties, fashion events, and festivals. It wasn't long before childhood friend Travis Scott took Chase B out on tour as his DJ, and the two also worked on creating music together, with Chase B becoming part of the JackBoys collective. 2019 saw him team up with Young Thug and Sheck Wes on the single "Mayday" before following it up with 2020's "Casino," the Don Toliver- and Gunna-featuring "Cafeteria," and "For Me," which featured contributions from KenTheMan and OMB Bloodbath. In 2021 he released his new song "365," again aided by big name talents in collaborators Babyface Ray, Zona Man, and GT. 2023 found Chase B releasing "Lights Please" with Pusha T and Khi Infinite, as well as "Ring Ring," a multi-million-streaming hit featuring Travis Scott, Quavo, Ty Dolla $ign, and Don Toliver. ~ Rich Wilson, Rovi
