Coey Redd

Coey Redd is a Nashville-based singer, songwriter, rapper, and producer, originally from Vacaville, California. She began building her reputation at just 12 years old, writing lyrics for local hip-hop artists in exchange for studio time, while simultaneously sharpening her skills through vocal and songwriting courses.

At 20, Coey moved to Los Angeles to attend The Music Institute in Hollywood. Halfway through her first semester, she was offered a co-publishing deal by industry veteran Suzan Koc (known for her work with Shelly Peiken and Busbee), solidifying her path in the songwriting world. She went on to write for both major and independent labels, gaining industry experience and creative credibility.

It wasn’t until the pandemic and the rise of TikTok that Coey shifted focus to her own artist project. Her raw, genre-blending style, fusing country roots with hip-hop energy quickly gained traction online, amassing millions of views and a growing fanbase (Over 1 million followers on TikTok).

In 2022, she relocated to Nashville to fully immerse herself in the country music scene. Her debut single “Church” broke into the Top 50 on the iTunes chart, marking the beginning of a breakout era. Since then, Coey has continued releasing music and building momentum with her distinctive sound and undeniable songwriting talent.
