Dimas Pradipta

Graduated from one of the best music school in the world, Dimas Pradipta has worked with many multi-genre musicians as a session player. Born in 1989, Dimas went to Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, California, to study Drum Performance and continued his education path to University of Pelita Harapan in Indonesia to further enhance his study in Performing Art & Production Management and graduated with honors.

Dimas has played with a lot of well known Indonesian musicians such as Glenn Fredly, Tohpati, Benny & Barry Likumahuwa, Bams, Kunto Aji, Aminoto Kosin, Ruth Sahanaya, Monita Tahalea and Addie MS . Aside from being known as a drummer, Dimas is also recognized as a music producer and a recording engineer. In 2011, Dimas started Sum It! Productions, his very own production house, where he produced albums for fellow Indonesian musicians, such as “Hemiola Quartet”, “Rekam Jejak Vol. 1 Feat. Benny Likumahuwa”, “Feel Good Collective”, “Adinda Shalahita”, “Gift of Light” and “Generation Y”. He has just released his first solo album “TND” alongside Tommy Pratomo.

On October 2016, his first solo album "TND" was nominated on AMI Awards 19th (Indonesia) for the category "Best Produced Jazz Album".
