New York rapper Kay Flock burst onto the Bronx drill scene with the release of his debut track, "FTO," racking up massive streaming figures before dropping his 2021 debut mixtape The D.O.A. Tape.
Born and raised in the Bronx, Kay Flock grew up listening to the likes of Chief Keef and the late L'A Capone before dabbling in production and rapping himself. Realizing he had a talent for quickfire bars, he dropped his first single, "FTO," in 2020, instantly racking up an impressive online following. Over the next year he released a slew of tracks, collaborating with B-Lovee, Dougie B, Lil Skrap, and Wan Billz, before being signed to Universal. Debuting for the label with the massive "Being Honest," Flock released a few tracks in the run-up to the release of his debut mixtape. The D.O.A.
