What do @Pelangi, @C.H.R.I.S.Y.E., Badai Telah Berlalu, Rapsodi and Rayu have in common? Besides being some of the biggest and most prestigious Indonesian pop songs in the past decade, all five – and over 150 more – were created by Laleilmanino, the award-winning songwriting and production trio consisting of MALIQ & D'Essentials members Arya “Lale” Aditya and Ilman Ibrahim and RAN co-founder Anindyo “Nino” Baskoro.
In the 11 years since Lale, Ilman and Nino decided that they wanted to take their songwriting and producing efforts to the next level and offer their services to other artists, they have become one of the most in-demand, prolific and illustrious songwriting and production teams in Indonesia. Working with newcomers such as Salma Salsabil and Tiara Andini and legends like Armand Maulana and Ruth Sahanaya, and everyone in between, Laleilmanino’s signature melding of sophisticated compositions with catchy melodies and lyrics have brought them multiple AMI Awards and hundreds of millions of streams. Though primarily working behind the scenes, Laleilmanino also had to the opportunity to perform a selection of their many hits for a special show at 2022’s We The Fest which featured an all-star cast of their collaborators.
Over a decade, 150-plus songs and numerous awards later, Laleilmanino are still going strong, balancing productivity with personal lives and their respective bands’ busy schedules, while still dreaming about their future together.
