LIA is a Romanian fresh new artist, with a sound that combines the nostalgia of the 80s music scene with fresh ideas. A combination of old and new that can make anyone fall in love with her project.
Her creativity goes beyond mainstream music industry.
LIA studied music since she was a little girl and her childhood memories always include music. She is a real fan of 80’s music and that’s why her music is influenced by that period; a different sound with a touch of familiarity.
“I think it’s important to appreciate and never forget about those who were here before us. Those who made music at a time when there wasn’t so much technology and when you didn’t have the opportunity to use various tricks that we all use today. It was a fantastic connection between the audience and the artist. Old music is not old-fashioned, it’s good music. I want to bring it back in a certain form in front of people who may have forgotten about it or may not even know it”, said LIA.
In 2020, LIA was at X Factor Romania, where she managed to impress the jury with her performance and was part of Ștefan Bănică’s team and was in the show till the semifinals.
