Mehmet Taylan, born in Istanbul, is a musician, composer and multi-instrumentalist who studied vocal instrumentation and music technology at Istanbul Technical University Conservatory.
At a very early age, he grew up with cassette tapes containing house and electronic sounds and anatolian music performed in the family.
During his early childhood he developed a strong interest in electronic music with a tendency to blend these two styles and interpret them intertwined.
In his solo projects and productions, he uses many stringed percussion instruments, vocals and arrangements and recordings are his own.
In his solo performances and the tracks he releases, he moves by blending anatolian music, authentic sounds, vocals and house techno pop.
On top of the deep spiritual atmospheres and energetic rhythms in the loops he uses, he improvises live Turkish music melodies and Anatolian instruments, turning the dance floor into a ritual set on fire with unique improvisations.
