Mike Taylor is a Philly-born, LA-based singer-songwriter, and DJ who pulls from the sounds of the past and retrofits them to create music and stories that resonate with today. His signature raspy voice and catchy melodies make for a combination that can't be ignored, delivering Soulful-Pop music in a style that’s uniquely his own. Throughout his career, Mike has collaborated as a writer and performer with world-renowned artists. In 2013 he released “World is Playground” with DJ Vice on Ultra records. In 2015, he found more success with Afrojack as they released “Summerthing!” on Def Jam. That single landed them at #3 on Billboard’s Dance chart, #27 on US Top 40 radio, and a 2016 MTV VMA nomination for Best Electronic Music Video. Also, in 2016 Mike signed with Rostrum Records and debuted his EP “Feel Good,” which drew some praise. In 2017, Mike released his breakthrough hit with Artist/Producer Unlike Pluto, “Everything Black,” on Monstercat. You can hear “Everything Black” featured in the video game Rocket League and has currently amassed over 500 Million streams across all platforms worldwide. With over 240 million streams on Spotify alone. Mike has a jam-packed year ahead in 2023, with music releases projected to happen throughout the year. He is devising a plan to return to performing live both domestically and overseas.
