NEEKA, the London based female duo formed between singer/songwriters Katy Tiz & Negin Djafari in 2020, may not be a name you know (yet) but you most definitely would’ve heard of their work.
With writing credits between them for the likes of Drake, Michael Jackson, Miley Cyrus, MØ, Tove Styrke, Avicii, Craig David & Martin Jensen, the pair are finally stepping from behind the scenes and doing so by making music on their own terms.
Pulling on references from their love of electronica, indie pop and alt dance their debut offering ‘Following The Sun’ alongside Super-Hi has already amassed over 300 million streams and has been Shazamed over 2.1 million times.
The single is now certified Gold in Austria, Germany & Australia with it charting top 20 in the latter and has appeared in numerous TV shows including Love Island, Wimbledon, the Euros & the Olympics.
