OYESONO is a brand new band that brings together the musical talents of Jasper Maekelberg and Billie Leyers.
Jasper is known for his work with hit band Faces on TV and producing and mixing some of the top acts in the music scene, such as Balthazar, Warhaus, Sylvie Kreusch, Ladaniva and Fil Bo Riva. Billie has made a name for herself as a singer-songwriter and producer in her own right.
Their musical journey started during lockdown when Jasper and Billie were forced to be confined in a small apartment in Antwerp. They channeled their energy into creating sultry music they dreamed of dancing to when lockdown was over. The result is a sound that is both familiar and fresh, with Jasper's tribal grooves and Billie's compelling melodies coming together to create something truly unique.
