PawPaw Rod is a singer born in Hawaii and raised in the state of Oklahoma. His passion for writing found him at young age as he traveled all over the world as a military brat.
His debut single “HIT EM WHERE IT HURTS," an effortlessly cool blend of rap, 60s soul, and house was released in 2020 by GODMODE, the LA-based music company behind artists such as JPEGMAFIA and Channel Tres.
A trio of EPs would follow: A PawPaw Rod EP (2021), Another PawPaw Rod EP (2022), and his brand new This Must Be A PawPaw Rod EP.
Says Rod of This Must Be A PawPaw Rod EP, "October 13th I drop my best music yet, I really just make shit I want to hear with hopes my future great grandkids listen one day and know they had family out there making songs about love, joy and journey they can be proud of."
