Filipino indie-pop artist rhodessa has been making waves since her cover of a Join the Club classic, “Nobela” in 2019. Since then, she has branched out and settled quite nicely into her own nook in the OPM indie scene writing original songs and building her audience of like-minded chill song streamers.

rhodessa channels alternative flavored pop on her label debut titled “Kisame.” she writes and sings about missing a love that is far away from her, but the way she delivers this alt-pop love song is way better than any description can do justice which just means that she’s that good to listen to. Of course, her talent in singing and songwriting makes it more evident as the track “Kisame” lingers in the #1 spot of Spotify’s ‘Viral 50 Philippines’, as well as in other editorial playlists of the said platform like ‘OPM Rising’ as she even made it to the cover of the 'Tatak Pinoy' and ‘Hot Hits Philippines’ playlist. "Kisame" continues to linger as it has more than 100 million streams on Spotify alone. She even currently peaked at #6 for Billboard Philippines and won as the ‘Wish Ballad Song of the Year’ for the recent Wish Music Awards 2024.

As the young and fast-rising artist rhodessa continues to make waves, she released a brand new alternative flavored single titled “Mina(mahal ko)” and a collaboration track with mrld in "sa'yong sa'yo lang ako."
