Born in London, Seani has taken the cosmopolitan surroundings he grew up in and
incorporated them into his unique musical blend. t.

In the mid 90’s he amalgamated his technical skills and released a series of Bootleg Remixes on vinyl that quickly caught peoples attention

Before long, some of the world’s biggest artists like Lauryn Hill, Sugababes and Shaggy.

The “Big League” record label was next to follow, where he has worked alongside Dancehall
“A” list Vybz Kartel, Sizzla, TOK, Luciano, Jah Cure and Beenie Man and more.

Following this his work as a producer received the ultimate accolade – he won a Grammy for
producing tracks on the Morgan Heritage album “Strictly Roots” in 2016

Seani joined BBC 1Xtra at in inception in 2002 with the award winning show “Seani B’s
Mixlab”. This show was about DJ Edits/ Mashups/Remixes long before the Tik Tok trends

An absolute all rounder, his DJ work ranges from International bookings on Damian Marley’s Jamrock Cruise, to hosting stages at Glastonbury and being a regular around the UK club scene

His radio work is without parallel in the music field. The world’s leading dancehall and
reggae DJ with his weekly BBC 1Xtra show as well as having amassed over 160 million views on Youtube for his sessions from Jamaica.

These sessions have helped cultivate the next stars of the genre like Masicka, Shenseea, Chronic Law Lila Ike, at the same time showcasing legends like Beres Hammond and more
