'Fight the Good Fight,' Vaneese Thomas’ eighth solo album, represents the culmination of an amazingly diverse career for the youngest member of Memphis’ first family of soul. After leaving the south for college, Thomas later established herself in the metro New York area where she currently resides. Also a background vocalist for artists from Eric Clapton and Joe Cocker to Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and Aretha Franklin, in addition, Thomas has voiced the characters of Clio the Muse in the Disney film 'Hercules' and Grace the Bass on PBS-TV’s 'Shining Time Station.'
